Chelsea Bremner returns home to Matatū in 2025 after spending two seasons with the Chiefs Manawa

She began her rugby career in 2015 at age 20, joining the Lincoln University club alongside her sister, Alana. Chelsea debuted for the Black Ferns in 2020 against the New Zealand Barbarians and was part of the 2021 Rugby World Cup-winning squad.

In Super Rugby Aupiki, Chelsea has played for Matatū and Chiefs Manawa, contributing significantly to her teams' performances.

Outside of rugby, Chelsea is a qualified school teacher

Her journey from a latecomer to rugby to becoming a world champion exemplifies her dedication and passion for the sport.
